Save progress, change devices and post scores

The original Trainer profile owns game progress and verified scores. This guide's planner saves and local checklist are separate.

Protect the right save before chasing a score

Game progress, verified scores and this site’s planner inputs have different owners.

Try it in this order

  1. If framed progress differs, open pokedefense.com directly.
  2. Select the intended Trainer; inspect an import/merge prompt before accepting.
  3. Export planner inputs separately and keep passwords on the original service.

Verifying is pending processing, not acceptance. An exported planner cannot recover an original Trainer password.

Protect your original Trainer profile

The original game saves a run after each completed wave. Creating a Trainer profile and setting its password protects access and supports cross-device progress; the Trainer Code remains a backup login route. Keep credentials in the original service rather than a companion-site form. Switching trainers on a shared device should switch their progress rather than automatically mixing it. If guest progress exists, read the game's import prompt and decide whether it belongs to that trainer before accepting a merge.

Understand leaderboard eligibility and verification

A Trainer profile must be at least 24 hours old to post scores. Start the run while logged in and online so the server can verify its rules and random events. Verifying is a processing state, not confirmation that the score was accepted. Leaderboards now include My runs history, where eligible missed submissions can be posted within 14 days. Old Endless Hall of Fame records belong to an earlier scoring era. Check the relevant board and run status before comparing records or restarting a pending submission.

Keep companion inputs apart from the game save

Saving a team or checking collection entries in this guide stores planner data, not changes to the original collection or badges. Use JSON export or a share link to move those inputs between devices. The game runs on pokedefense.com, and browser rules for embedded storage may affect whether an existing session is visible inside another site's frame. If the frame is blank or progress differs, open the original game directly and select the intended Trainer profile before deciding that your save was lost.
