Evolution prices, branches and Mega choices

Budget the whole evolution path. A 4★ move can change attack type, utility and form, so compare more than damage per hit.

◉ Trainer field notes

From Charmander to a deliberate 4★ choice

Reach Charizard for ₽1,250; the final move is an additional purchase.

PokémonThis purchaseTotal placement and evolution cost
Charmander₽200₽200
Charmeleon₽300₽500
Charizard₽750₽1,250

Compare the choices

Signature moveAttack typeTotal placement and evolution costRole and tradeoff
Mega Charizard XDragon₽2,350Dragon attack, burn and Mega bonus; check Fairy immunity.
Mega Charizard YFire₽2,350Fire attack with a larger splash radius and burn.
OverheatFire₽2,250Fire vulnerability for repeated hits; lower complete purchase cost.

Try it in this order

  1. Buy the three evolution stages in order, adding each upgrade cost.
  2. Choose one signature move for the actual enemy types and role.
  3. Open the prefilled calculator and compare the complete price and effects.

The move rows show complete placement, evolution and move costs, without Lucky Egg, shiny or a Tower price modifier.

Add every price along the path

A stage's cost is the price of that upgrade, not the total price of the final Pokémon. Charmander costs ₽200 to place, Charmeleon adds ₽300 and Charizard adds ₽750: reaching Charizard costs ₽1,250 before a signature move. Use the cumulative price when planning an opening. A final form you cannot afford before a dangerous wave may be less useful than a cheaper complete counter. Lucky Egg discounts eligible upgrades rather than the initial placement.

Choose the branch for its attack

Branching lines require an explicit choice; all alternatives do not remain available on the same placed unit. Eevee's branches answer different coverage needs, while a 4★ move can change another line's attack type. Tyranitar attacks with Rock by default and gains Dark coverage through Crunch. Compare the resulting attack type, range and seconds per attack together. A familiar main-series dual typing is not a substitute for the single attack type stored on this game's tower.

Inspect the special form and its utility

Many signature moves trigger Mega Evolution with the source-defined 10% damage bonus, but their own effects still determine their role. Charizard has three 4★ options, including Overheat. Typhlosion instead transforms into Hisuian Typhlosion through its special move; this is not labeled a Mega. Compare the price, type change and utility before deciding. The database's 34 special forms and 273 move records are entries to inspect, not evidence that every collection line offers the same upgrade choices.
