Buy and level items for the right holder and mode
Items work in Story, Classic, Endless, Hardcore and Sandbox. Challenges and both Tower variants disable them.
Quick Claw: pay for levels once, copies separately
One new copy at level 3 costs 1,700 Poké Coins and 40 Candy.
| Level | Quantity | Cost | Candy | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | 600 Poké Coins | 0 | +8% · Faster attacks; divide the interval by one plus the bonus. |
| 2 | 1 | 900 Poké Coins | 10 | +12% · Faster attacks; divide the interval by one plus the bonus. |
| 3 | 1 | 1,700 Poké Coins | 40 | +16% · Faster attacks; divide the interval by one plus the bonus. |
| 3 | 3 | 2,900 Poké Coins | 40 | +16% · Faster attacks; divide the interval by one plus the bonus. |
Try it in this order
- Choose the number of copies you actually need.
- Add level 2: 300 coins + 10 Candy; then level 3: 800 coins + 30 Candy.
- Compare the full holder setup with range or damage alternatives.
Rows start with no owned copy. Upgrades are shared once; three copies do not triple Candy. Held items are disabled in Daily, Weekly and both Tower variants.
Check the holder and current attack type
A Pokémon holds one item and keeps it across eligible runs. The 27-item database includes type boosters, utility choices and Weather Orb. A booster only helps while the holder's attacks use the matching type: Charcoal does not boost Eevee's Normal attacks before a Fire evolution. Silph Scope excludes lines with the specified native sight. Before buying, compare the item's holder restrictions with the selected branch and move, then confirm that your intended mode allows held items at all.
Calculate the full level cost
Most items have three levels. Level 2 costs 10 Candy plus 300 coins; level 3 adds 30 Candy and 800 coins. These come on top of purchase price. A 300-coin booster therefore costs 1,400 coins and 40 Candy to buy and reach level 3. Weather Orb has one level and no upgrades. The item budget planner separates buying, leveling and the remaining gap, so you can compare a completed item against spending the same coins on collection eggs.
Interpret faster attacks as shorter intervals
Quick Claw's 8%, 12% and 16% faster attacks divide the interval by 1.08, 1.12 and 1.16; they do not add damage per hit. Life Orb raises damage while removing 12% range, potentially reducing time on target. Wide Lens extends range instead. Light Clay lengthens eligible status effects, while Lucky Egg discounts evolution and move purchases. Compare the complete holder and move setup in the calculator, then inspect whether its changed range still covers the intended path or support position.
